WHO WE ARE ?
Abhilasha Foundation is a non-profit NGO established under society Registration Act, 1860 (Registration No: GBBSD /964/2014) and The Bombay Public Trust Act. 1950. (Registration No: F-58645).

Abhilasha Foundation was established by a team of social workers who are working in the field of health, education, sustainability, vocational training, empowering women and child development.

Abhilasha Foundation works among migrants, poor and abused women, neglected children, senior citizens, school drop outs, Self Help Groups, and awareness on various social, health and current issues. The underprivileged need to be given the appropriate opportunities and they need to be motivated. Abhilasha Foundation works with a view to help the poor community through various welfare activities.

To promote education, food, health and clothing for the underprivileged children/women in the Society and they need to be given appropriate opportunities.

To improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries.

To promote sustainable social change by improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations.

To identify and work with the marginalized population especially with the underprivileged children.

To give equal chances to deserving youths to be self-reliant and to enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life.

OUR OBJECTIVES
To provide for all the basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, education and medical) to women, senior citizens and children. To ensure the rights of the children, adults and women through providing opportunities.

To ensure a healthy childhood by providing quality education, nutrition and health services to marginalized children. To admit the underprivileged children in the municipal school.

To provide the youth with vocational training and equip them for better employment chances. To provide medical support to the (BPL) children for undergoing critical surgeries. To promote unity amongst the diverse groups.

TRUSTEES & ASSOCIATES

NISHA MALAWAT (FOUNDER- PRESIDENT)
She is an ardent social activist and is selflessly working since last 20 years for underprivileged and orphan children/women and campaigning for the children’s & women rights. She is a very hard working, devoted, sincere, passionate and simple lady who has a strong commitment towards supporting the underprivileged women and children in society. Her ability to manage diverse activities coupled with her realistic approach and courage has progressed Abhilasha Foundation to incredible heights.

BASANT KUMAR MALAWAT (SECRETARY)
He is a Marine Engineer worked 16 years on various positions on board V. Ships Managed Vessels and in V Ships Mumbai Office. At present working as Manager – Maersk Tankers Crewing Operations. He is very social, humble and devotes his time for solving the issues of children and focusing for providing education & healthcare to the underprivileged children.

AJAY ATMARAM GOTAD (TREASURER)
He is an IT Teacher teaching in Swami Vivekananda International School (Borivali) for the past 14 yrs. He wants to explore his knowledge for computers to train the poor and orphan children.

DR. ANAND LAXMANRAO AMBESANGE (MEMBER)
He is M.D Medicine running Hospital at Charkop- Kandivali from past 10 yrs. He wants to help the poor and orphan children who are having any serious health related issues.

MR. CHANDRA SHEKHARRAMDAS PRADHAN (MEMBER)
He is a retired SBI Bank Manager and wants to devote his time for helping and providing scholarship to the poor and orphan children.

MRS. MANGLA SARODE (MEMBER)
She is social worker and working for the past 20 yrs for the issues related to child abuse. She supports the girls to empower them.

PROF. VERNAN ANGELO BARRETTO (MEMBER)
He is a Professor working for the past 28 years in Sophia College- Mumbai, teaching physics, and he is also the author of Physics Text Books and Practical Manuals. He wants to help and support the orphan and destitute children by providing them free education for the difficulties.

SAJID KACHHI (ASSOCIATE)
He is B.Com and having more than 4 years of experience for generating funds to support poor and underprivileged people. He is very social, humble and always extends his support for generating funds for holistic development of society.

SAMEER K. (ASSOCIATE)
He is B.com from Mumbai University. And he is raising funds for Underprivileged children’s from One Decade a dynamic leader and a qualified fundraiser. He has an in-depth understanding of Fundraising and he has proven success in Individual & Corporate fundraising.
